A short version of how I got here, and how I like to work.
Hello
I am Elena
Wedding and portrait photographer
I started in architecture school and did not finish it. I fell for the darkroom instead, and never really left.
I spent four years as a second photographer, learning weddings from the inside. I have been on my own since 2012. I speak Greek and English, and shoot happily in both.
My work is quiet and honest. I would rather catch the real moment than set up a perfect one.

How I got here

The start
Architecture, then the darkroom
I went to architecture school and left it for photography. The darkroom is where it clicked.

Four years
Second photographer
I learned weddings the slow way, at the side of photographers I trusted.

Since 2012
On my own
I have run my own work since 2012. About twenty weddings a year, never two in one weekend.

Today
Greece and the islands
Weddings all over Greece, Santorini, Paros and Hydra in the summers, portraits in Athens in between.
We wanted someone who felt like a guest, not a director. That was exactly Elena.
